Facilities Finance and Information Systems

Facilities Finance and Information Systems is a trusted partner, providing exceptional support to Facilities and the Caltech community.

As a bridge between Facilities and Finance, we collectively work with third party vendors, Caltech divisions and departments, and Central Finance to help facilitate operations, by developing and implementing efficient and effective financial policies, plans, and reporting systems. We also support construction projects, providing timely, accurate, and reliable cost reporting and processes.

In Information Systems we provide consulting, software research, training, systems administration, and support to Facilities management and the department as a whole. We constantly strive to improve business operations and services, and work seamlessly with Caltech's Information Management Systems and Services (IMSS) department.

Support is also provided to Facilities management and departments in the areas of Information Systems policy and procedure, process analysis, strategic planning, and operational planning.
